Whether you want to take care of your woods, hike and hunt on your land, or make memories with family, we are here to help. Our “Learn About Your Land” classes provide the knowledge and resources for you to get the most from your woodland. We invite you to join us to learn about your land.

Learn About Your Land is a series of three weekly classes, and registration of $30 covers all three classes.

Learn to Identify and Manage Invasive Woodland Plants- Classroom Session

Friday, October 23 6-8PM

This session will cover how to recognize common invasive plants that threaten the health and diversity of Wisconsin woodlands. This class will provide practical strategies for identification, monitoring, controlling, and preventing the spread of invasive species, helping you protect and improve your woodland for future generations.

Learn to Identify and Manage Invasive Woodland Plants- Field Day

Saturday, October 24 9AM-Noon

Put your skills into practice during this guided outdoor field experience. Participants will learn how to identify common invasive plants in the field, recognize signs of infestation, and assess their impact on woodland health. Through hands-on learning, you will explore monitoring techniques and discuss practical strategies for controlling invasive species and preventing their spread. This interactive session will help you build confidence in managing invasive plants and protecting your woodland for future generations.

You may request an interpreter, materials in an alternative language and/or format, accommodations for hearing or visual impairment, accommodations for physical mobility considerations, and/or other services to make this event more accessible. Contact information is listed at the top of this webpage. Please make requests as early as possible prior to the program so that proper arrangements can be made. There is no added cost to you for these services.
